Eng. Omar Ali Sharif is a Somali IT professional and entrepreneur who is part of a new generation transforming Somalia’s digital landscape. A graduate of Horseed International University, Omar earned his degree in Information Technology in 2020. He has since worked with several tech organizations, including a notable role at Rasiin Technology (2022–2023).
In 2023, Omar launched Kifaax Market, a technology-driven platform focused on enhancing local commerce through digital services. As founder and CEO, he leads efforts in integrating e-commerce, IT solutions, and small business empowerment. His mission is to bridge digital gaps and empower Somali businesses through accessible and localized tech services.
